We operate in five different teams. Together, we work as one team to deliver good IT services.

ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION TEAM

Aside from managing the internal affairs of the ITC office, such as budget and records, the Admin Team issues the UPLB webmail account or the UPLB NetID, which is needed by all university staff and students to access the UPLB network.

The Sys Ad Team handles UPLB’s servers, its live streaming service, and hosting of university-related websites. It is also the team that sets up the UPLB webmail account (i.e., NetID) for university staff and students as well as guest accounts for visitors.

NETWORK ADMINISTRATION TEAM

APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE TEAM

The Network Admin Team handles the design and configuration of UPLB’s core network. It handles connectivity issues inside UPLB and its connection to the Internet. The team troubleshoots and fixes these issues and makes sure that the University’s online connection is running efficiently for everyone.

This group is responsible for developing websites and web-based applications for UPLB, such as the daily time record and biometrics system and the Online Health Monitoring System. This team also provides training and advice for university-related websites and applications.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM

The Tech Support Staff is the team to call when computer hardware and software need inspection or when problems are encountered regarding these. This team is in-charge of installation and repairs.
