ITC helps keep University VoIP phones running

The UPLB ITC oversees the UPLB VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Project, which is the technology that integrates telephony with the Internet. This project aims to cut millions of pesos from the university’s telephone bills every year by replacing traditional phones with VoIP phones. VoIP phones do not need subscription from private telephone companies because the service is rendered by UPLB’s private VoIP server.

The ITC Network Administration Team accepts requests for new network connections. To apply, a formal letter of request may be sent to the ITC Director.
